A giant egg washes ashore in Japan and becomes an instant tourist attraction, the only problem is, it belongs to a giant butterfly-like creature from monster island named Mothra - and she wants it back!
When the island's tiny twin Mothra priestesses seek its return from greedy businessmen profiting on the egg, Godzilla suddenly appears and threatens to take out Japan and the egg. Now, the people of Japan need Mothra to help them get rid of Godzilla and beg the girls for help. Will Mothra's people help after years of nuclear testing destroyed their beautiful island? Good Godzilla film - 2.75 out of 5 (9/8/2003)
Godzilla is one of the most famous movie-monsters of all time. And when you throw in a giant moth and tiny singing people, Godzilla vs. Mothra ranks up there with other classic over-sized monster films, despite some special-effects blunders.

Big Moth vs. Big Lizard - 3 out of 5 (4/10/2003)
The first thing people usually wonder about DVDs is will they have decent extras (for me, it's the scene selection). Others really don't care (I think if they don't care, they should buy "Destroy all Monsters" on DVD), but if the extras are what you want, well, you might want to stay away from this and others.
Now, that DVD doesn't have extras (it sure does for "D.A.M.") it just means that it has nothing special. This and the other 4 DVD's from the sony entertainment have only 1 good extra (a
